The situation
People complain that the air is bad, and there is no number to confirm or refute it. Fixing it is guesswork, because nobody knows which floor or which hour.
Crowding is the same. Everyone knows the evening is busy — but how busy, where it starts, and for how long, nobody can say.
How it works
Sensors read PM2.5, CO2, temperature, humidity and people count, placed where the readings will mean something rather than in every room.
Readings reach the cloud every minute, and the people on site read them from a phone instead of walking to a screen in a control room.
When a threshold is crossed the alert is immediate, and the history stays — how often, at what hours. That history is what wins the argument for a refurbishment budget.
